Changing the Church’s Mission
My mentor, Ernie Fitzpatrick, recently shared this quote from A.T. Robinson…
“The church is missionary, not primarily because it is trying to pull people into itself (this is proselytism… whose root meaning is, ‘come to us’), but because it is constantly reaching beyond itself with the call, ‘Come WITH us’.”
